Meet The Team
Roy Legg Bagg
Managing Director
Roy has been in the construction industry the entirety of his working life and has been involved in natural stone and landscaping materials for two decades – what he doesn’t know about natural stone probably isn’t worth knowing! Roy’s father John started Miles Stone back in 1970 with the ethos of making high quality landscaping products widely available to the gardens of the UK and Roy continues his work. He’s always looking to buy in products that live up to our mantra of making dream landscapes possible.
Craig Stovold
Head of Marketing
Craig runs the marketing side of our business. His working background is pre-dominantly in advertising & print media – he loves a chat about PDF settings and document bleeds. Armed with his marketing nous Craig creates our digital and multi-media advertising campaigns. He’s also responsible for designing our lovely ad literature and media. When he’s not working he’s usually found out on his bike or planning holidays with his wife.
Mark Oliver
Rally Driver
Mark is our HGV Driver and a damn good one he is too. He knows his limestone from his slate due to over 30 years experience in the building materials industry. He’s been with us for well over a decade of that and knows our product range inside out. We always get great feedback on Mark’s deliveries where he is courteous and as accommodating as possible. He can often be found hoisting a ton of stone over a garden fence but when he’s not doing that he’s relaxing with a cold beverage or supporting Liverpool FC – but we don’t generally hold that against him.MILES STONE INSPIRATION
